The High-Performance Swim Clinic is an intensive, technique-driven programme designed for swimmers who want to refine their skills, improve race performance, and gain deeper insight into elite-level training.
Whether you’re a competitive swimmer, Masters athlete, or a dedicated enthusiast looking to break plateaus, this clinic delivers focused coaching in a motivating environment.
What to Expect
Expert Coaching & Individualised Feedback
Every session is led by Head Coach Jared Butler, known for his dynamic and athlete-centred approach. Swimmers receive personal guidance and performance feedback tailored to their goals and stroke style.
Advanced Stroke Analysis
Using video review and in-water observation, each swimmer gains insight into stroke mechanics, body positioning, and efficiency. Filming is conducted solely for coaching purposes, with consent obtained before recording.
Race Preparation & Strategy
The clinic covers pacing, turns, starts, and race simulation sets — helping swimmers develop mental focus and tactical precision for competition.
Conditioning & Dryland Work
Sessions incorporate specific conditioning and activation routines to enhance power, mobility, and endurance both in and out of the water.
Supportive Environment

The High-Performance Swim Clinic is designed for competitive swimmers, Masters swimmers, and motivated recreational swimmers who want to improve their technique, speed, endurance, and race performance. It is suitable for swimmers at intermediate to advanced levels who are ready for structured, high-intensity training under expert guidance.
The clinics will be designed & delivered by X Lab's head coach, Jared Butler. At age 17, Jared qualified for the U.S. Open and the U.S. Olympic Team Trials in the 200 Breaststroke and 200/400 IM, and has had the privilege of swimming alongside some of the world’s fastest swimmers, including Olympic champions Brendan Hansen, Aaron Peirsol, and Ryosuke Irie, and being coached by the legendary Eddie Reese and Kris Kubik. In 2018, Jared found his passion in coaching and in 2022, came to Singapore to lead the competitive swim squad at Sports Schooling’s X Lab.
Participants can expect structured, high-intensity training sessions led by Head Coach Jared Butler, featuring advanced stroke analysis, conditioning drills, and race strategy guidance. Some sessions may include video analysis to provide detailed feedback on technique and stroke mechanics. Any filming is strictly for coaching purposes, with participants’ consent obtained beforehand, and personal or public sharing of footage is not permitted. Each session delivers personalized feedback to help refine technique, build endurance, and improve overall performance, all within a supportive and motivating environment.
- Fees paid are non-refundable.
- Fees cannot be pro-rated for any lessons missed, regardless of reason, including medical.
- Participants must commit to BOTH dates of each clinic session. Carrying over sessions to the next clinic will not be allowed.
