The X Lab Short Course Sanctioned Meet is more than a race day — it is a celebration of effort, progress, and the shared journey of competitive swimming.

Designed to provide swimmers with a safe, structured, and supportive competition environment, this meet encourages athletes to challenge themselves, race with purpose, and strive for personal bests while upholding the values of respect, resilience, and sportsmanship.

Competitive swimming has the unique ability to bring families, teammates, coaches, and officials together. This meet reflects our commitment to building a strong swimming community where swimmers are supported, encouraged, and inspired to achieve their goals — whether it is a first race, a personal best, or a new record.

Rules & Regulations

All events will be conducted in accordance with sanctioned competition rules
Swimmers must follow instructions from meet officials at all times
Only approved swimwear and equipment are permitted
Disqualifications and false starts will be managed according to competition regulations
The decisions of the referee and officials are final
X Lab reserves the right to combine, reseed, or cancel events where necessary

Eligibility & Age Groups

Open to swimmers 18yrs and below, based on year of birth
Age groups will be determined based on the swimmer’s year of birth
Swimmers will compete in the age group applicable to them for the duration of the meet
All swimmers must be able to complete their entered events safely and independently

Terms & Conditions

Registration is confirmed upon successful payment
All fees are non-refundable unless the meet is cancelled by the organiser
Programme details may be adjusted due to unforeseen circumstances
Club/ Parents/guardians acknowledge and accept the inherent risks of competitive swimming
Photography and videography may be taken during the meet for training, documentation, and promotional purposes
Registration is primarily via clubs; individual submissions are also welcomed
